Obverse: laureate head of Melquarth, the Phoenecian version of Hercules. Reverse: eagle on prow of galley (Tyre was a major seaport). After 20 BC the mintage of these coins moved from Tyre to Jerusalem, since they were so critical for temple taxation. This is a classic, beautifully centered and struck Jerusalem mint example.
