Gun money struck in May of 1690. Superb quality metal and strike.

1691 (misshapen 1 on die read as 3 by NGC) brass halfpence, struck at the siege of Limerick
Struck at the siege of Limerick over a large gunmoney shilling, by the defenders of James II. An interesting combination of a siege coin struck over an emergency issue. Smooth glossy brown surfaces with much undertype still showing.
